Laws of the Night

We have shipped about half of all pledge goodie boxes already!  People have started getting their books and we are getting some great feedback.
We are trying to ship out some more today, and then will take a break till next week due to hurricane Milton (our warehouse and much of our staff are in Central Florida). If all goes well, we may be able to ship out more late this week though.
 
International customers- expect your cards on file to be charged for shipping in the next few days, as well as anyone with domestic orders whose pledge doesn't show as "fulfilled" yet. We will send out another update by the end of the month, so don't worry if you don;t have your stuff just yet!

Good news- the books arrived, and it is all of them, soft and hard covers! 
We had a few trial shipments and will begin sending out in bulk next week!  Of course, it will take a few weeks to get all of them out.  If you haven't filled in our shipping adress survey yet, please do so asap, and ensure your credit card on file is up to date so shipping can be charged. When your pledge is close to shipping, a tracking number will appear in your Backerkit profile.  If you have not received that by the end of October, please email [email protected].

If you are going to Darkness Emergent: Vegas on Nov 7-10,  you should have your copy in hand before that!  If you are an international supporter and going to Vegas,  let [email protected] know.  Maybe it is easier- and cheaper for you- to arrange in person delivery.

We have some great updates for you!  We are going to start sending out the address surveys to confirm address updates along with any additional add-on information.  We want to give enough time for everyone to get theses surveys in, so by 9/24 we are going to be locking the addresses to get shipping labels ready and printed for our next phase - SHIPPING.

As a heads up - some will be receiving a survey early, this is part of our required "smoke test" to ensure that everything is set up correctly.  

As mentioned before, our shipment of the pocket-edition is expected to arrive in late August, and we’ll begin delivering the soft-cover book orders (along with add-ons) as soon as possible after that. We've got a dedicated team ready to package and send out your orders the moment the books arrive. Backers will receive their orders first, followed by shop pre-orders- backers, expect an address survey mid August! We will also post here before these go out.

We've explored the possibility of split shipping and found it challenging to ensure that no stretch goals or add-ons are missed, especially with the hardback and softback releases being just about two months apart. However, if you're eager to get the softback right away, please contact us at [email protected], and we'll do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that  separate shipping costs will apply.
For our international friends, combining shipments of both hardback and softback editions is likely the most cost-effective option. We're committed to making sure you receive your books in the best way possible!

The Deluxe (Hard-Cover) books will not arrive with the shipment of pocket edition books to our warehouse.  We believe we will have the Deluxe edition late October/Early November.  In the meantime, we will begin our shipping address surveys next week. 
We are still formulating a plan, but we will plan on keeping to our schedule of beginning to ship the pocket-edition only orders later in August.  We will work with BackerKit to determine if there is a way to split shipments that include both books.  We will reach out to you as soon as we have information on that.We are all disappointed and doing everything we can to get these books in your hands ASAP!
